No face is used until an admin approves.

An admin can enrol a face, or the person can enrol their own on the app.

Face check-in, devices at the gate and the class teacher’s register all write to one attendance record.

Questions

What schools ask about face check-in.

What stops a student checking in from home?
The location boundary. A check-in counts only inside it, and within the school’s check-in times.
Does it work without the internet?
Face check-in on the app works online. Biometric devices on the school’s premises keep recording without internet, and attendance syncs to the cloud when the connection is back.
Do we still need the class register?
That is the school’s choice. The register, face check-in and gate devices all write to one record, so use one or all three.
