Questions

What schools ask us first.

Who sets the spending limits?
The school. A limit can be daily, weekly or monthly, and it can apply to the whole school, to one class or to one child.
What happens when a child reaches the limit?
The till blocks the sale before it goes through, so the child is never overdrawn. Staff take an item off and carry on.
Can parents see what their child bought?
Yes. A parent opens Pocket Moni on the web or the app and sees each purchase, item by item.
What if the internet is down at break time?
With the offline tuck shop till, an add-on, the till keeps selling on the school’s own network and students pay with their fingerprint. Sales sync to the cloud when the connection is back.
