Questions

What schools ask us first.

Can a role be granted for one section only?
Yes. Roles are granted school-wide or per section, so a head of one section sees that section’s students and data.
Can we make our own roles?
Yes. Create a role, choose what it can see and do from fine-grained permissions, and give it to the people who need it.
Can an audit entry be changed or deleted?
No one can change an entry. The audit trail is append-only, and entries are cleared only after the retention period the school sets.
What happens to an account when someone leaves the school?
An admin switches the account off in user management; it is not deleted. The audit trail keeps what that person did.
